French premium chocolate manufacturer, Valrhona, will showcase its new Inspiration range at Gulfood 2017.
Why are you attending Gulfood in 2017?
Since 2009, Valrhona has been significantly growing in the Middle Eastern area, and Gulfood has been a key rendez-vous to meet with our customers (chefs or F&B managers) from the whole Arabic peninsula and even sometimes from Asia.
What products are you showcasing at Gulfood?
This year we will present our latest couvertures: our second chocolate in the blond category, Orélys; a new single-origin and double-fermented milk chocolate, Kidavoa; and our brand new ‘Almond Inspiration’ couverture. There will also be a strong focus on our decoration range, and more specifically the Gold range, made with real gold leaves.
What is your latest product launch?
Almond Inspiration is the newest couverture and a true revolution in the pastry world. Neither a praline, nor an almond paste, it is a brand new way of using almond, exactly as a chocolate couverture, for a pure, natural almond flavour.
What are your plans for 2017?
Almond Inspiration is the very first launch within a wider range called Inspiration. More fruit couvertures will be launched this year with different fruit flavours, such as strawberry. All of these fruit couvertures will be used in pastry and chocolate making, but also in decor within the Valrhona Signature range.
