His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai opened Arabian Travel Market yesterday (Monday 24 April 2017) at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is the international travel and tourism event in the Middle East for inbound and outbound tourism professionals.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was joined by dignitaries including HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and CEO of the Emirates Group; and His Excellency Helal Saeed Al Marri, Director General of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
The 24th edition of the show welcomes over 2,600 confirmed exhibitors – with 100 exhibiting for the first time – representing more than 150 countries, across 65 national pavilions.
The show also extends across an additional hall, in order to meet growing demand.
ATM 2016 attracted almost 40,000 industry professionals, agreeing deals worth US$2.5bn over the four days.
The 2017 edition of the exhibition takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 24 – 27 April, 2017.
