Single Malt Scotch, Glenfiddich, will host the final of the Experimental Bartender Competition on Wednesday 13 September at Le Cirque in DIFC, Dubai.
Five of the region’s best bartenders will present their ideas to the public at pop-up bars before the winner is crowned Most Experimental Bartender.
The winner will go to the global final in Scotland to compete against the best bartenders from around the world for the top prize and the opportunity to make his or her whisky concoction famous.
Chef Wesley Tyron Berghoff from Le Cirque will be creating a pairing menu to sit alongside the cocktails, and guests will have the opportunity to sample all five of the finalist’s creations, a range of experimental drink serves, food pairings and aroma sensations.
The World Brand Ambassador for Glenfiddich, Struan Grant-Ralph, will host whisky tastings for small groups throughout the evening.
The Experimental Bartender Competition is the debut event for the Glenfiddich Experimental Programme, which will be activated across Dubai from September via a series of interactive pop-ups showcasing the brand.
Glenfiddich’s distillery was founded in Dufftown, Scotland by William Grant in 1887.
