Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates has welcomed back former manager Alexander Doberstau to lead the revenue division as Director of Revenue Management. Having started his career as an apprentice in Germany, Doberstau first joined Kempinski Hotels in 2010, and worked his way up through various roles, including Reservations Agent, Reservations Supervisor, and Assistant Revenue Manager. Prior to re-joining the Kempinski group this month, Doberstau most recently worked for Anantara in Abu Dhabi, UAE, as Area Revenue Manager. With over ten years of international experience in hospitality and hotel operations, Doberstau brings extensive market knowledge to the Kempinski team.
In his new role, Doberstau will be responsible for guiding the revenue department in achieving its strategic business goals– ensuring the effective gathering, analysis and reporting of information to maximise guest satisfaction.
His dynamic approach, coupled with his solid understanding of day-to-day hotel operations, will ensure his success in offering a memorable experience to guests.
