Dubai-based Chef, Reif Othman will be teaming up with home-grown urban fast food restaurant, Roti Rollers, to create a unique three-course dining experience for one night only on 10 February at La Mer.
Infusing Singaporean flavours to Roti Rollers signature East meets West fare, Reif Othman and Chef Sameer, head chef at the restaurant, are set to ignite palettes through a round of appetisers, main dish, and two desserts as well as an amuse bouche and free-flowing beverages all night long for AED 299.
Commenting on the collaboration, chef Sameer Said, “Our brand identity has always been one that evolves, especially with a dynamic and fluid menu as ours. We have incorporated rolls inspired from Spain, Japan, America, and world over, and now with Reif Othman on board, I am sure there is room for some Singaporean inspiration. The experience will be as educational for me as it will be exciting.”
“I am a firm believer in supporting home-grown establishments that are challenging their culinary genius to put forth innovative and tasteful dishes. Roti Rollers is known for injecting global influences to staple South Asian fast food with a healthy twist, and I look forward to working with the team to amalgamate the worlds of street fare and fine-dining through our collaboration,” added Othman.
In Roti Rollers signature style, the set-menu will imbibe an unconventional creative spin to typical Indian dishes, with a focus on flavour, ingredients, and technique.
