JLT Dining, Dubai’s first neighbourhood online food community, is launching the JLT Dining Pop-Up Series, which will see Jumeirah Lakes Towers’ unlicensed restaurants collaborate with a fully licensed venue to host a series of “one-night-only” pop-up dinners.
“Many of JLT’s best-loved outlets are independents and, food and hospitality-wise, can easily hold their own against some of the best licensed restaurants in the city, where it not for the lack of house beverages,” explains JLT Dining’s Chief Munch Officer Ina Kubler.
“We don’t think every restaurant needs to be fully licensed, but we and many of the restaurateurs we work with think it’ll be great to give the loyal fans of the neighbourhood’s best restaurants a chance to experience the food they love in a new dimension, so we came up with the JLT Dining Pop-Up Series.”
The Series will kick off on Friday, 17 January 17, with Chalco’s Mexican Grill hosting a Mexican street food fiesta on Healey’s Terrace at the Bonnington Hotel for AED 350 ++ per person.
Vol. 2 of the Series will see the award-winning Betawi Café popping up an Indonesian evening brunch on the Bonnington’s pool deck on Friday, January 24, complete with Chicken and Lamb Satay, Crispy Duck, Nasi Goreng, and other Indonesian and Balinese specialties.
