Coffee Planet, a specialty coffee roaster, will open the brand’s first owned and operated café in Dubai, also introducing compostable coffee capsules.
Plans are underway to introduce compostable capsules along with offering the latest Appia Life coffee machine for customers, which reduces energy consumption, causing less of an environmental impact.
In a move to attract a wider consumer base, the company will also operate its first full-service Coffee Planet café in the UAE, to be located at the brand-new Dubai Mall Za’abeel, due to open later this year.
“As we start our journey into the new decade, Coffee Planet will continue to reach for new heights. The year 2019 has been remarkable and with the success that we have achieved last year, we are keen to increase our growth this year. We are happy to announce that we will be opening our flagship cafe in the UAE, that will serve the much-loved Coffee Planet products. We will also introduce new sustainable products and to increase our international presence, the team will participate in events and tradeshows in Asia, Africa, Europe and beyond,” says Roberts Jones, managing director at Coffee Planet.
In October last year, Coffee Planet introduced the Nitro Cold Brew, a ready-to-drink, low-calorie beverage capped at 38 calories per can (five calories for Nitro Black), featuring a natural caffeine boost.
