Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel has partnered with LaLiga to host the United Arab Emirates’ first edition of the Spanish Extravaganza Festival from September 10-12, celebrating the country’s heritage, tradition and cuisine through a series of events.
The annual global event is the brainchild of Ferran Adria, former Head Chef at the three Michelin star elBulli restaurant in Spain. Conceptualised to share the art and secrets of Spanish cuisine across the globe, the festival runs through 55 countries to arrive at the shores of the property.
The event will feature culinary creations from four of Spain’s celebrity Michelin chefs – Juanlu Fernandez, Fernando del Cerro, Ager Urigüen and Paella Masterchef David Montero.
On September 10, foodies are invited to enjoy a Live Paella Tasting & Grilled Meat Masterclass. Montero will share his passion and expertise. Running from 7.30pm to 11pm at the Great British Restaurant, packages for the evening start from AED 225 per person.
The Spanish Extravaganza Brunch will transport brunch-goers to the colourful streets of Barcelona at West 14th Steakhouse. The brunch features live cooking stations, where the acclaimed chefs will showcase 20 LaLiga tapas.
