Al Quoz-based roastery ROR is set to launch four accredited training courses next month, so UAE participants can explore their passion and discover more about coffee.
Launching this July, the four courses will delve in to the rich world of coffee and explore the coffee farming and supply chain process, the roasting and brewing process, and of course, include coffee tasting and sampling.
Perfect for coffee connoisseurs, aspiring baristas, or anyone who is interested in learning more about the much-loved beverage, participants will be able to choose from four courses to study which include: Introduction to Coffee, Barista Skills, Brewing Skills and Sensory Skills. All of the courses are available to study at Foundation, Intermediate and Professional levels and include training time and an examination, and will take place from July 1 and run throughout the year.
“Selecting, brewing and preparing coffee is an art and we value this very much at ROR. This past year people have really been exploring their passions so we wanted to be able to provide people with a place where they could really put them in to action and learn about the world of coffee, along with skills and qualifications that they will be able to use for a lifetime,” says Dragan Ristic, Q Arabica Grader and AST (Authorized Specialty Trainer) at ROR Roastery.
Starting at AED 1,000 +VAT per person for the half day Introduction to Coffee course, the accredited courses will be led by ROR’s in-house coffee specialist, Dragan Ristic at the Al Quoz-based roastery.
