The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm celebrates success at the prestigious World Travel Awards, with a fantastic win as the Middle East’s Leading New Hotel 2021 and a nomination for the World’s Leading New Hotel 2021.
As a prominent award revered as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence, the World Travel Award is set up to acknowledge, reward, and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism, and hospitality industries.
Nominated contenders are voted for and chosen by professionals working within the industry – senior executives, travel buyers, tour operators, agents, and media – and by the public, making it a highly commendable achievement for winners.
This year’s award recognised the Middle East’s leading hotels and resorts across over 60 separate categories, with The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm chosen as the top runner amongst 10 other hotels nominated within the same category. The award demonstrates the hotel’s excellent capabilities in providing a distinctive experience to all guests and maintaining a brilliant standard of care.
“We are immensely proud to receive top accolades from one of the most esteemed award programmes in the travel industry,” said Marwan Fadel, General Manager at The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm. “It is a great honor and an incredible achievement for our team to see their continued efforts and dedication to delivering an unmatched guest experience recognized worldwide. We are excited to welcome new guests and visitors to our now award-winning hotel for an unforgettable stay and a taste of true Middle Eastern hospitality steeped in the renowned St. Regis legacy.”
Speaking of the award, Graham E. Cooke, Founder of the World Travel Awards said: “Despite the ongoing challenges faced by our industry, I am pleased to report that this year’s World Travel Awards programme saw record month-on-month voting numbers from the all-important tourism consumers, whilst our website continues to receive more search traffic than in any previous year. This shows that as the global recovery gains momentum, the appetite for travel has never been stronger. With the return of bookings comes a notable consumer trend to seek out the very best tourism products from across the world, which is why winning a World Travel Award this year is more valuable than ever.”
