Diners can now roll right through the tastes and flavours of Asia at Zabeel House by Jumeirah, The Greens, the city’s funkiest neighbourhood hangout, thanks to the launch of a revamped menu at award-winning restaurant, LAH LAH.
Culinary dynamos at the pan-Asian kitchen and bar have rolled, folded and finessed trending ingredients into new recipes. The result is a plethora of continental classics with a twist and a plethora of pan Asian dishes.
The new line-up features rolls, sushi, salads, dumplings and a host of meat, seafood and vegetarian mains courses, all with newly appointed Chef De Cuisine Tran Ngoc Pham’s special touch.
Brand new starters include Vietnamese Spring Rolls and Wasabi Prawns as well as Grilled Duck Rolls and Prawn Papaya Salad.
The restaurant’s sushi offering has been bolstered by Dynamite Rolls and California Rolls to supplement LAH LAH favourites, while the dumplings section now features Lobster and Scallop, Seafood Curry and Steam Chicken Shuimai.
The standout new main course options include Grilled Five Spices Chicken, Grilled Salmon Teriyaki, Golden Garlic Prawns, Szechuan Chili Lamb, and Ginger Lotus Sea Bass.
Diners who prefer to indulge in sharing options can opt for the Grilled Platter (two pieces each of lamb rack, wagyu beef, king prawn and five spices chicken); Sashimi Platter (option of eight, 12 or 16 pieces, with a selection of sashimi salmon, tuna, yellowtail, scallop and tobiko), or the LAH LAH Platter (papaya salad, two vegetable spring rolls, chicken satay, wasabi prawns, duck rolls and foie gras prawn toast).
Not to be missed, the dessert selection now also boasts Chilled Mango Soup.
While the new menu line-up caters to all tastes, LAH LAH classics such as Chili Prawns, Dragon Rolls, Signature Peking Duck, Nasi Goreng and Thai Green Curry retain their place on the revamped menu.
Welcoming the onset of cooler temperatures, LAH LAH has reopened its expansive outdoor terrace so diners can enjoy al fresco dining all whilst adhering to the government’s health and safety regulations.
LAH LAH is open from 12pm-12am on Saturday until Wednesday and 12pm-2am on Thursdays and Fridays, with a live DJ turning up the heat on the weekends.
