Award-winning cocktail lounge, Galaxy Bar, is set to host rising stars of the Dubai cocktail community for a unique showcase of talent. On Thursday, 30th June guests will be able to visit the DIFC venue to taste six exclusive drinks, each created by a different talented bartender from the city.
Celebrating their peers of the bar scene, Galaxy Bar has invited six accomplished barmen and women from some of the most loved settings in the country including ROKA, Mimi Kakushi, Papa Dubai and Soho Hospitality Group to celebrate their talents. Alongside them, Galaxy Bar’s very own world-class bartenders Stefano Gambardella and Coralie Doillet will be creating their own masterpieces on the evening, using Remy Martin’s brands. Galaxy Bar’s stellar team have developed two unique cocktails, the Spark, with a St Rémy cognac, comté cheese & almond cordial, peach soda and apricot bitters, and the Urania, with spicy mango Cointreau, charcoal bamboo mezcal, with a hint of lime juice, rose water and orange salt.
Stefano Gambardella, Head Bartender of Galaxy Bar says, ‘As a team we love to celebrate our peers in the industry. We frequently host bar shifts from venues across the globe but this time, we are really looking forward to doing this with names from across Dubai. There is exemplary talent here in the Middle East and we want to take the opportunity to show off the rising stars of our industry.’
Marking the occasion, Galaxy Bar’s iconic starry ceiling will be complete with some special additions for the evening. Shooting Stars will grace the walls of the iconic venue next to regulars and first-timers alike, while they sip their way through a memorable evening.
