The management team at Park Rotana and Park Arjaan by Rotana, Abu Dhabi is pleased to welcome its new and first ever female general manager, Eleni Tsolakou.
A seasoned hotelier with over 20 years of experience across the globe, Eleni is no stranger to Rotana. She was the General Manager of Centro Barsha by Rotana, Dubai from 2013 to 2015 and of Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana, Abu Dhabi from 2015 to 2019. Prior to her GM posts at Rotana, she has worked in Indonesia, Djibouti, Egypt and the UAE taking over leadership roles with renowned hotel brands including Kempinski Hotel Group, The Legian Hotels and Emirates Palace. Subsequently, she was the General Manager of Address Dubai Marina Hotel & Residence and later joined Aldar as General Manager of Yas Mall.
Before moving to Park Rotana, she was part of the opening team of The WB Abu Dhabi, Curio Collection by Hilton and Double Tree by Hilton Abu Dhabi as Cluster Hotel Manager. Combined with her extensive experience, her educational qualifications consist of a bachelor’s degree from her native country, Greece as well as a Master of Science degree from University of Sheffield Hallam in the UK and a diploma from Harvard Business School in the US.
A multi-lingual hotelier who speaks English, German and Greek, Eleni is known for her creative flair, superb leadership skills and excellent business acumen. Her achievements in all the properties she has handled, whether it is pre-opening hotel or an established one, speak for themselves. An inspiring example to all hoteliers, especially the females, Eleni is an asset to the hospitality industry.
Commenting on her appointment, she remarked, “I am delighted to be back in Rotana. It is indeed an exciting opportunity for me to manage the Park Rotana complex, made of the award-winning Park Rotana Abu Dhabi, Park Arjaan by Rotana and Park Residences.
