Bar du Port debuts “BDP Beach” this summer, embracing its Mediterranean essence as it expands in two international locations: Byblos Village, Lebanon, and Sahel, Egypt. Under Addmind’s vision, “BDP Beach” stands as the beachside counterpart to the renowned Bar du Port – a symbiotic sister brand.
Emerging from Beirut’s vibrant port in 2016, Bar Du Port perfectly blends French elegance with a cosmopolitan twist. The brand’s evolution continued in Lebanon as it relocated to a stunning waterfront home at Aishti Seaside, embodying a distinctive maritime identity. Stepping onto the global stage, the journey led to a prestigious location in the UAE, in Dubai Harbour in January 2022, swiftly becoming a sought-after haven for connoisseurs of waterfront luxury and fine dining.
Over the years, in both Beirut and Dubai, Bar Du Port has firmly established itself as a premier destination and a cherished brand, promising guests a delightful experience and capturing the hearts of a discerning international clientele.
2023 marks a significant milestone for the brand with the opening of “BDP Beach” in Byblos Village, Lebanon, a concept that pushed the boundaries of the brand’s identity while maintaining its core ethos. This successful venture set the stage for yet another achievement this summer – the unveiling of “BDP Beach” Sahel, a unique beach pop-up crafted in collaboration with Kynd Hotel, further establishing Bar Du Port as a leading player in the global hospitality industry.
“BDP Beach” is an ode to bohemian allure that mixes the charm of the Ligurian Riviera, the playful glamour of the Côte d’Azur, and the subtle simplicity of the Greek islands. Filled with earthy hues, and organic elements, the interior epitomizes the brand’s understated luxury.
Wassim Zouein, Addmind’s managing partner talks global expansion and highlights, “Bar Du Port has always had a plan to expand globally. We spent two years developing from our base in Lebanon to open more locations from Dubai to Egypt. We were particularly excited to have a pop-up in Sahel, offering exposure in a new country before establishing a permanent location in Cairo.” Indeed, the journey doesn’t end this Summer for Bar Du Port – the brand is already gearing up to capture hearts in Egypt, with a new venue coming soon in Cairo.
