A New Mexican inspired restaurant and bar concept has arrived at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights Hotel, located close to Downtown Dubai
The La Tablita restaurant offers an authentic taste of Mexican street food with 16 variations of chilies and guacamole imported from Mexico.
Chef de Cuisine Daniel Hurtado, who has gained much recognition over the years for adding his distinctive flair to classic Mexican cuisine, takes up the position of master in the kitchen. Guests can enjoy a vibrant and lively atmosphere similar to a street side Taqueria with the menu showcasing everyday Mexican dining including ‘The Taco Shop’ featuring 16 selections of tacos.
A knowledgeable team of associates from Mexico has been carefully selected by the restaurant’s manager, Isaac Adam and all of them share their enthusiasm and commitment to the concept.
La Tablita’s interior is filled with artwork from up-and-coming local artists that reflect a modern Mexico and gives the venue an urban ‘street art’ flavour. Upon entry the eye is drawn to the chili counter that marks the entry to the main dining room where the skillful team adds a sense of human theatre to the visual feast. Contemporary notes are evident throughout the venue in beautifully crafted wooden furniture, whilst a nod to Mexican folklore and street culture is reflected in the diverse selection of artworks decorating the walls.
Topping the offering is La Tablita’s bar area, which stocks a generous selection of beverages with a specific focus on tequila. The exuberant collection has been hand selected by the restaurant’s “Consejo Regulador del Tequila”, the first of his kind in Dubai, who is on hand to masterfully guide diners through this signature Mexican libation, encouraging a late finish.
