Get into the groove in Amazónico’s lush indoor oasis with Tropicalia Weekend Parrilla’s new eclectic musical offering featuring Bossa Nova’s dynamic Latin duo, Diego and Giselle. Prepare to be transported to the sun-kissed islands of Brazil as you indulge in Tropicalia’s delectable barbecue sharing-style menu and savour the sultry melodies of Bossa Nova.
Set to bring a true feast for the senses, Diego and Giselle bring with them their seductive rhythms and soulful melodies as they reimagine the iconic Brazilian genre, blending the traditional with modern flavours to create an unforgettable musical experience. With the Bossa Nova duo offering the perfect accompaniment for a weekend to remember, the Tropicalia feast offers an array of bites such as Pan de Queso, Arepas and Patacones accompanied by a range of dips and toppings including Guacamole, Pulled Veal and a Chicken Avocado salad. The light and hearty Ensalada de Verano is a light and fresh combination of tomato, cucumber, white radish, gem lettuce, and melon, finished with peanut sesame dressing.
The meat selection takes centre-stage as guests choose from a full offering of charcoal-grilled meats, starting with perfectly cooked Picanha, a Brazilian-style grilled rump steak cut in the traditional churrascaria style at the table. Then Argentian Chorizo, Peruvian chilli marinated Baby Chicken and New Zealand Leg of Lamb and finally orange marinated Veal Ribs. For those seeking a lighter option, you can opt for the woodfire-cooked Sea Bass or there is also a bespoke vegetarian menu available upon request.
Complementing Diego and Giselle’s soothing musical repertoire, Amazónico’s mixologist has whipped up a tropical selection of ice-cold Caipirinhas perfect for a weekend festivity. Vermelhas combines the sweet summer flavours of strawberry, raspberry, and coconut. Tropicalia will take you on a more exotic twist with maracuja, mango and anise. If you prefer something a little spicy, Caliente is just for you with tomato, basil and chilli. There is also a Sommelier’s selection of decanted wines for pairing. To round things off, Amazónico’s ultimate summer dessert, Piña Rostizada, is sliced up tableside fresh from the grill and served alongside homemade coconut and vanilla ice cream.
Offering a true indoor tropical vibe, Amazónico also unveils its newly renovated restaurant terrace where guests can sip and indulge in the Tropicalia festivities in the comfort of its chilled jungle-inspired setting.
