The highly acclaimed neo-Indian Fine Dining restaurant, The Crossing, renowned for its bold and modern take on traditional Indian cuisine, is set to embark on its second annual pop-up tour across India in partnership with the Marriott Group of Hotels’ prestigious Masters of Marriott Bonvoy event series.
Led by Chef Jitin Joshi, who brings over 23 years of experience and an impressive career spanning eight countries, The Crossing promises to take diners on a journey through India’s diverse culinary landscape. Chef Joshi, who has received numerous accolades throughout his career, including the coveted Michelin Star and Ethnic Chef of the Year award, will head the tour and showcase his unmatched talent and expertise.
The Crossing’s pop-up tour will be hosted at three Marriot properties for only three nights and will kick off in Bangalore from October 20th-22nd at the Sheraton Grand Whitefield, followed by Kolkata from October 27th-29th at JW Marriott and finally concluding in Delhi from November 1st-3rd at The Westin Gurgaon.
Each leg of the tour will feature a specially curated menu featuring carefully selected recipes from across India, highlighting ethically sourced GI-tagged ingredients to bring the true essence of Indian cuisine to the table. The menu will showcase a range of the restaurant’s house specialities like Twisted Dahi Papdi (crisp pastry nest, honey yoghurt, pickle), Kallu Shappu Prawns (seared tiger prawns, coconut toddy, lime) and Chef Joshi’s unique creation that brings together Indian and French sweet specialities, Ledikeni Brulee (brioche gulabjamun pudding, ras malai custard).
