Founded by Natasha Sideris in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2005, tashas café has become synonymous with authentic flavours, dishes made to order, and beautiful interiors that transcend time. Gloria “Martha” Khumalo, Senior Kitchen Manager at tashas Mirdif has worked in the brand for over 18 years while Dorcas Nyoni has worked with Natasha for over 18 years and has recently been promoted to Kitchen Manager at tashas Al Jalila. They both stand as indispensable pillars within the tashas café family. Martha’s dedication to her role and leadership have been instrumental in maintaining impeccable standards in the kitchen. Her job responsibilities range from overseeing kitchen operations, including stock management and cleanliness maintenance, to nurturing and training staff to uphold impeccable standards. Meanwhile, Dorcas’ adept problem-solving skills ensure seamless execution even amidst challenges. Her duties involve managing kitchen staff, coordinating food orders, and ensuring the procurement of supplies and equipment while upholding rigorous sanitation and safety standards.
