
SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi invites guests to celebrate the long weekend with three exciting dining experiences designed to transport them on a rhythmic, flavour-filled journey. On Thursday June 26th and Friday June 27th, guests can unwind with Sunset Social, offering golden hour drinks and bites on one of the city’s most scenic outdoor terraces. Throughout Thursday, June 26th, Friday, June 27th, and Saturday, June 28th, the restaurant will come alive with live Samba dancers, from 9:15PM. Finally, to round off the celebrations, on Saturday June 28th, the venue will host its iconic Rio Brunch, a vibrant celebration of Brazilian culture and cuisine.
SUNSET SOCIAL
On Thursday, June 26th and Friday, June 27th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, after-work professionals and early-evening diners are invited to join for Sunset Social, a curated menu of refreshing beverages and pre-dinner snacks. Enjoy a variety of Caipirinhas, Brazil’s most iconic cocktail, all priced at AED 50, with flavourful infusions such as Guava and Shiso, Coconut and Pandan, and Mango and Yuzu, alongside the Classic recipe. Guests can also enjoy selected wines including Suelos Macabeo and Suelos Cabernet Sauvignon for AED 50. Asahi beer is available for AED 50, or guests can toast with a glass of NV Delamotte Brut for a sparkling start to the evening, available for AED 40.
With each drink ordered, guests are treated to one bite from a specially crafted menu that captures the bold and vibrant flavours of SUSHISAMBA’s Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian roots. Dishes include the Salmon Tartare with avocado, tobiko and crispy nori, shrimp tempura with spicy mayonnaise and truffle dressing, Chicken Taquitos with aji panca and charred pineapple salsa, as well as Calamari with yuzu mayo and shichimi, and the signature salty or spicy Edamame with lime.
SAMBA NIGHTS
From 9:15 PM on Thursday, June 26th, Friday, June 27th, and Saturday, June 28th, SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi will come alive with the dynamic spirit of Brazil, as live Samba dancers infuse the space with movement and celebration.
As the music pulses, diners can explore a menu rich in culinary artistry, curated by Head Chef Edgar Obed, whose global expertise brings precision and flair to a menu that seamlessly celebrates the bold flavours of Japan, Brazil, and Peru. Highlights include the striking SAMBA Rolls, such as the signature Wagyu Dhabi Roll featuring Japanese A5 Wagyu, fried leeks, truffle aioli, eryngi, kampyo, and avocado; the Bahia Roll with tuna, shrimp tempura, jumbo crab, avocado, and spicy aji panca; and the Samba Dubai Roll, crafted with Maine lobster, mango, avocado, soy paper, and aji honey truffle.
The menu also features the tender Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef Gyozas, Chilean Sea Bass Anticuchos, and the perfectly seared Angus Beef Tenderloin. For a burst of citrus and spice, the SAMBA Seviche Platter offers a vibrant mix of fresh flavours, while heartier fare like the Seafood Cazuela Rice Clay Pot, the Mushroom Tobanyaki with Black Truffle Clay Pot, and the Robata-style Black Cod pay homage to the restaurant’s tri-cultural roots.
RIO BRUNCH
On Saturday, June 28th, from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, SUSHISAMBA Abu Dhabi will transport guests to the lively streets of Rio de Janeiro with its iconic Rio Brunch. This high-energy event invites guests on a rhythmic, flavour-filled journey, bringing the Carnival spirit to life with dynamic samba dancers and an electrifying DJ.
The brunch will feature a spectacular food display and table service for main courses, ensuring a seamless flow of indulgence. Starters include freshly made Guacamole with crispy tortillas, Salmon Tiradito with orange ponzu and crispy quinoa, and premium sashimi and sushi maki from the live station. The Robata Anticucho live station will take centre stage, serving up Eggplant with white miso and crispy rice, Chicken with aji mirasol and crispy quinoa, Angus Beef Tenderloin with aji panca, and Chilean seabass. For the main course, highlights include Australian Angus Tenderloin with foie gras, miso-marinated black cod, and Arroz Chaufa with organic black rice, complemented by crispy cassava and char-grilled broccolini. The feast ends on a sweet note with decadent Chef’s Selection Trio of Desserts, perfectly paired with a selection of vibrant cocktails like the Samba Negroni, SAMBA Caipirinha, and Samba Margarita.
With a selection of exclusive packages to suit every preference, guests can either opt for the non-alcoholic package priced at AED 495 per person, the house beverage package at AED 595, or to truly celebrate, the Premium Champagne package at AED 695.
