Black Spoon Group has announced the brand’s entry into Lebanon through a long-term franchise partnership with Fashmore Holding, with the first location set to open in late October 2025 on the iconic Hamra Street in Beirut. What began as a heartfelt nod to Beirut’s flavours and culture has grown into a regional success story that continues to resonate with communities near and far
Since its launch in 2018, Allo Beirut has become a regional favorite, offering a vibrant dining experience rooted in authenticity, culture, and the flavors of old-school Beirut. With multiple locations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain, the move to Lebanon marks a deeply personal milestone, bringing the brand home to where its story was born.
More than a new location, this moment marks a homecoming, a return to the city that has lived in every dish, detail, and decision, since the brand’s inception.
Speaking about the expansion, Charbel Mhanna, CEO of Black Spoon said, “We are proud to announce Allo Beirut’s entry into Lebanon, a homecoming that holds deep meaning for our entire team. For the past seven years, we’ve been celebrating Beirut; its food, its energy, and its spirit across the UAE, and more recently in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. We’ve been proud to carry a piece of the city into new places and share it with new audiences. That’s what makes this homecoming feel so special, it’s not just another opening, it’s a return to where it all began. This launch marks a key milestone in our regional journey, and bringing the brand to Hamra feels especially significant. Hamra Street represents the cultural heart of Beirut, and its vibrant energy perfectly mirrors the spirit of Allo Beirut. Together with our partners at Fashmore Holding, we’re committed to delivering an experience that not only celebrates the flavours of Beirut, but feels like Beirut.”
Bassam Assaad, Chairman of Fashmore Holding also said, “We’re thrilled to add Allo Beirut to our portfolio of experience-led F&B and retail brands. This partnership is built on a shared vision and true synergy, rooted in a belief that the most enduring concepts are those that connect deeply with both people and place. Allo Beirut is a brand that captures the essence of a city, and bringing it back to where it all began is incredibly meaningful. This is more than a franchise, it’s a full-circle story. And we can’t wait to serve the flavor, rhythm, and energy of Beirut again, in Beirut.”
Set across 675 sqm and spanning three floors, the Hamra venue will seat approximately 100 guests and feature one of the brand’s most dynamic designs to date. The space is built around an open-concept layout that evokes the atmosphere of a lively Beirut street, with stations dedicated to manoushe, shawarma, fresh juices, and more. Each floor brings a different vibe, yet collectively delivers an immersive Allo Beirut experience that’s both nostalgic and forward-thinking. A dedicated grab-and-go section has also been introduced, tailored to Hamra’s fast-paced, urban crowd.
The menu at Allo Beirut Hamra will feature all the brand’s signature favorites, while introducing a few new additions designed specifically for the local market. With Lebanese diners already deeply familiar with the cuisine, the focus is on keeping the experience authentic, while adding small, considered touches to make it feel familiar and exciting.
Every dish on the menu tells a story, from sizzling grills and oven-fresh manoushe to shawarma wrapped just the way it used to be.
This launch forms a key part of Allo Beirut’s regional expansion strategy. Following the Hamra opening, Black Spoon and Fashmore Holding are actively exploring additional locations across the country, with plans to open three to five branches within the next two to three years.
Allo Beirut’s return to Lebanon is more than a strategic move, it’s a heartfelt tribute to the city that gave the brand its name, identity, and soul.
