La Parrilla, the well-loved Argentinian steakhouse at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and one of the property’s earliest restaurant concepts with many years of success, marks its return, reigniting Dubai’s connection to the flavours, fire, and spirit of Argentina. Now under the direction of Chef José Cacciavillani – a Mendoza native whose culinary career spans South America, France, and Dubai – the restaurant enters an exciting new chapter, filled with passion, rhythm, and authentic cuisine.
A long-time favourite among guests seeking vibrant dining rooted in cultural expression, La Parrilla celebrates its heritage while inviting diners to rediscover the essence of Argentinian gastronomy. Inspired by the country’s revered tradition of asado, the restaurant remains true to its namesake – ‘La Parrilla’ – meaning ‘the grill’ in Spanish – paying tribute to fire, flavour, and togetherness.
Arriving at a time when Dubai’s dining landscape is increasingly celebrating legacy, authenticity, and culinary storytelling, La Parrilla’s return feels both timely and resonant.
Chef José, who previously helmed the kitchen in 2019, presents a renewed menu shaped by his experience working with culinary greats, including Francis Mallmann from the celebrated 1884 Restaurant in Mendoza, where he immersed himself in the art of fire-cooking.
The Entradas offer favourites such as Provoleta with fire-roasted peppers and chimichurri, and house-made Chorizo, while The Empanada Experience features classics like Braised Beef and the uniquely Argentinian Ají de Gallina.
At the heart of the kitchen, the traditional Parrilla, honours Argentina’s legendary grilling culture with exceptional cuts – primarily sourced from Argentina – such as Ceja de Bife, Lomo, Bife Ancho, and Vacío Tradicional. These are served with Andean-style Papa Frita, chargrilled seasonal greens, and a selection of sauces ranging from classic chimichurri to rich truffle.
Desserts deliver pure Argentine indulgence, offering favourites such as Flan Mixto, Classic Chocotorta, and Dulce de Leche Crêpes.
A celebrated hallmark of the restaurant, Tango Nights return every Friday and Saturday from 7:00PM, featuring live dancers who bring the passion and artistry of Buenos Aires to life. Paired with panoramic views across the Arabian Gulf, the experience promises an evocative and memorable evening.
Hours of operation: Daily from 6:00PM to 11:00PM
