The 11th edition of Food & Hospitality Oman will return to Oman International Exhibition Centre on 20 – 22 September.
The international exhibition covers food and beverage, food processing technology, kitchen and catering equipment, packaging systems, and horeca furniture and related services.
Oman is a fast-growing market for international suppliers to the foodservice industry.
The market is heavily reliant on imports, with 80% of food requirements met through imports, and 25% of its total imports food products.
Milk and milk products, meat and poultry, cereals, and fruit and vegetables are the most common imports.
Oman imports food and livestock from the UAE, Japan, the UK and the USA – the country’s main source of imports.
Food consumption is projected to grow by 5.3% from 2.6 million tonnes in 2011 to 3.2 million tonnes in 2016.
Food & Hospitality Oman showcases food products, ingredients and seasonings, beverages, catering and kitchen equipment, packaging systems, hotel décor, equipment, supplies and services, hotel and hospitality technologies, food processing technologies, and agricultural and fisheries products.
