Six Senses Zighy Bay in Oman has appointed Rosalin Lau as its new director of spa and wellness.
Singapore-born Lau has more than twenty years of experience in spas, fitness, wellness and hospitality having worked with brands such as Raffles Hotels, Conrad Hotels, Meritus Hotels & Resorts, Banyan Tree and Jumeirah Group.
After graduating with a master of science in international management from the University of Liverpool in the UK, Lau qualified in body therapies and became a certified yoga instructor.
Prior to joining Six Senses Zighy Bay, Lau was part of the pre-opening team for Shine Spa, Sheraton Grand Dubai.
She also gained Middle Eastern experience working as spa manager of Ritz-Carlton, DIFC in Dubai, during which she was appointed ‘Champion of Spa Discipline’, a regional role for Ritz-Carlton and Marriott Spas in the MENA region.
Six Senses Zighy Bay is located on the northern Musandam Peninsula in the Sultanate of Oman and features 82 village-inspired pool villas set in a bay with a private sandy beach.
Dining outlets include fine-dining restaurant, Sense on the Edge and regional-inspired eateries such as Shua Shack, Spice Market, and a Wine Cellar.
