Having just arrived in Qatar before the end of 2022, Roberto’s opened its doors in the luxurious St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl-Qatar. The homegrown Dubai brand has accumulated a large following across the Middle East as the authority for exquisite Italian cuisine. As they continue to expand globally, Roberto’s parent company Skelmore Group’s focus is to forge a network of outlets in newly established luxury destinations across the GCC and beyond.
The upcoming expansion and partnership with the acclaimed Alfardan Hospitality will allow Roberto’s and Skelmore Group to build their vision to promote its signature, contemporary lifestyle concept centered on gourmet Italian cuisine, exceptional mixology, and world-class entertainment. As Qatar continues to move towards modernization, the Skelmore Group believes the country and its capital will see continuous growth in popularity across the region. Coincidentally, the opening of Roberto’s Doha is an exciting time as has happened during the FIFA World Cup Qatar.
Skelmore Hospitality Partners COO, Andrea Sacchi commented on the new opening, “With this new opening at The St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island, The Pearl-Qatar, our journey continues as Roberto’s Group expands its presence in GCC. We are excited to share this new location and looking forward to next year’s planned openings to become a reality and continue bringing Roberto’s Dolce Vita to new locations in GCC and globally.”
Perched in the enchanting Porto Arabia, guests of the newest outlet in Doha can expect the presence of the core experiences Roberto’s is famous for, with the addition of contemporary décor. A modern retelling of classical Italian elements and the re-adaption of La Dolce Vita were the inspiration for the interiors of the sublime and experience-driven Doha venue. Pearls of varying shapes and sizes exude luxury across the restaurant alongside glass and lustrous metal fixtures. Stone and the use of porcelain are softened by the presence of wood further accentuated with glamorous prints.
The extensive site features the likes of the Salotto Lounge and Terrace for casual diners, as well as a mixology and music bar with daily live entertainment. Similar to the Dubai outlet, the grand Piemonte expands towards the indoor and outdoor dining areas. For a more intimate setting, the outdoor Cortina provides exclusive terrace dining with breathtaking views of the surrounding marina. The Signature Crudi Seafood Bar and Italian Butcher experiences are also present but with modernized designs that continue to evolve as the brand continues to expand.
Approximately 80% of the original Dubai menu will be served, with 20% being a wide array of recently developed creations from the best ingredients. The creator behind the new menu is Chief Culinary Advisor Francesco Guarracino —who is at the helm of the Doha site’s culinary team.
Whether it is for relaxed lunches or sumptuous dinners, Roberto’s Doha is the city’s newest dining hotspot for unbeatable luxury and refined Italian cuisine.
