
Rooted in a deep passion for gastronomy, Alexandre Tissot was raised in Paris, France in a family of restaurateurs, sparking his extensive culinary journey from a very young age. Following his passion, Alexandre pursued a degree at the prestigious Ecole Hôtelière de Paris Lycée Jean Drouant and continued to build his career alongside some of the most iconic names in French cuisine, including Alain Ducasse, Thierry Marx, and Joël Robuchon.
With over a decade of hands-on experience in both fine dining and brasserie-style culinary concepts, Alexandre brings an acute leadership style to his role as Restaurant Manager at The MAINE. Twice nominated Restaurant Manager of the Year by Gault & Millau guide – a recognition that reflects his ongoing commitment to operational excellence and guest experience. Before joining The MAINE, he successfully managed a family-owned restaurant in Lisbon for four years navigating the homegrown business landscape which made him the perfect fit to run The MAINE. Alexandre also held key positions at renowned establishments such as L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Dubai and Rech by Alain Ducasse gaining widespread experience across the UAE and France.
