
Hakkasan Dubai at Atlantis, The Palm is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Lewis as General Manager. With 13 years of international experience in luxury hospitality, now at the helm of Hakkasan Dubai, Andrew will lead a talented team of 33, overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations. He has contributed to the achievements of several award-winning restaurants, including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at Atlantis The Royal.
Building on the success of the one-Michelin-starred Hakkasan Dubai, Lewis brings a fresh perspective to one of the city’s most iconic Michelin-starred venues, along with a commitment in cultivating a strong, motivated team culture that translates into unforgettable dining experiences. With a keen eye on business growth, he will also be focusing on driving top-line revenues, ensuring the restaurant’s continued commercial success and elevating service standards.
Originally from the UK, Lewis’s career took off during his tenure at Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park in London when he joined The Fat Duck Group in 2014. Over the course of more than seven years, he rose through the ranks to become the Restaurant Manager, gaining extensive experience in a Michelin-starred environment. In 2021, Lewis relocated to Dubai to join the leadership pre-opening team of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at Atlantis The Royal as Assistant General Manager. There, he led the development of the team and operational structure from the ground up, resulting in the restaurant earning a Michelin star within just three months of opening, alongside several other prestigious accolades. Before joining Hakkasan Dubai, Lewis led operations at Broadway at Mandarin Oriental Abu Dhabi.
