Homegrown eatery Lime Tree Café is now open at The Offices, Ibn Batutta Gate.
“The addition of Lime Tree Café to The Offices at Ibn Battuta Gate provides our tenants with a local alternative to international food chains, offering a healthier and more sustainable F&B option for morning coffee or lunch,” says Abdulla Bin Sulayem, CEO of Seven Tides, the owner of the development.
The café will be operating daily from 7.30am-6.30pm and from 9am-3pm on Saturdays from September, with a menu that emphasises fresh vegetables and fruits, grains, pulses, nuts and seeds, its own baked goods, as well as fair-trade organic teas and coffee, and healthy smoothies.
“Besides the well-located, modern office space, tenants can also take advantage of other facilities such as a robotic car park, valet parking, 24-hour security and maintenance services, plus paid meeting room facilities and preferential rates at the adjacent five-star Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate,” adds Bin Sulayem.
“Office staff looking to take a break from their daily routine can choose from a variety of lunchtime dishes, from fresh sandwiches, scrumptious toasties and gourmet salads, to freshly baked goods such as the legendary café favourite – the Lime Tree Café carrot cake. For those starting their day early, the eatery has several breakfast options including organic sourdough toast, gluten-free toast, cereals and granola pots,” adds Corinne Bowker, managing partner, operations at Lime Tree Café.
The new Lime Tree Café is plastic-free, with all purchases packaged in sustainable materials. Customers are encouraged to bring their own cups and receive AED 2 off their purchase.
