Il Borro Tuscan Bistro, a new Italian restaurant and bar is set to open at Al Naseem Madinat Jumeirah in December.
It is the first international venture for Il Borro, a 1000-year-old Tuscan estate owned by the Italian Ferregamo family and stretching over 700 hectares.
Salvatore Ferragamo said: “The Ferragamo family and I are excited to bring a piece of the Il Borro Tuscan estate to a discerning Middle East audience.
“We look forward to treating the UAE to a taste of true Tuscan authenticity where organic, sustainable and ethically grown produce and a commitment to hand-craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do, from our menu to warm Italian hospitality.”
The Bistro, located on the Al Naseeem property’s Turtle Lagoon, will be supplied with produce from the Il Borro estate, including organic grape, olive oil, honey and a bio-farm.
The menu has been created by executive chef Andrea Campani, whose dishes interpret Tuscan cuisine in a modern way.
The resident executive chef is Maurizio Bosetti, previous executive chef at Atelier M, Dubai Marina.
A private dining room – where guests can choose the soundtrack – features a cooking station with a bespoke menu.
