New York diner, Big Daddy’s has opened in Dubai, offering burgers, pancakes, milkshakes, retro arcade games machines and an 80s soundtrack.
Located at the Burjuman Centre, the opening mark’s the brand’s first venture outside of the US.
Branded Restaurant managing partner Michael Schatzberg said: “We are thrilled to be working with LMZ Cuisines to bring Big Daddy’s to the UAE. Our bright lights, pop-culture memorabilia and modern twist on American diner classics as sure to turn heads, and give residents and tourists of Dubai, a great taste of New York.”
Open from 9am, the breakfast menu offers waffles, French toast, eggs, breakfast sandwiches and smoothies.
Chicken, beef and vegetable burgers, hotdogs, chicken grills, buffalo wings, fried chicken, floats, slushies and sundaes are available all day.
Derek Palmer, restaurant manager of Big Daddy’s Dubai, who has moved from Big Daddy’s in New York, commented: “Dubai is a culinary melting-pot and we are proud to offer a different kind of dining concept to the people of Dubai, where the 80s diner comes to life, alongside delicious dishes which are hearty and filling.
“We hope families and friends will drop in and see us for a fun-filled breakfast, lunch or dinner and we’ve created an atmosphere where people can relax, feel at home and tuck into a wide choice of classics.”
