Why was the decision taken to launch a Manitowoc Foodservice facility in Dubai?
As a leading global provider of professional foodservice equipment, it was the next step to open an office in the Middle East to offer greater support and expertise to our customers and partners across the region. The Middle East region continues to be a strategic area of investment for Manitowoc Foodservice, and the new facilities further expands our global footprint in line with our overall growth strategy as an independent company.
What facilities does the new Manitowoc premises have on offer?
The new premises include a culinary demonstration kitchen and training centre to provide exceptional assistance and advice on key brands such as Convotherm, Merrychef, Frymaster, Manitowoc Ice and Lincoln. With these new capabilities, Manitowoc Foodservice will further demonstrate equipment and systems that unlock value for foodservice operators across a variety of segments.
What can we expect to see from the new Dubai facility?
We have been very successful in the Middle East region and are still expecting further revenue growth for our cooking platforms, including Merrychef speed ovens and Convotherm combi steamers. These products are some of the best in the industry, and our new demo kitchen and training centre will definitely help us do more for our customers in areas like menu development and service support. The new premises will further enhance our reputation as a global leader in professional foodservice equipment and systems with a high-performing service capability.
