Fairmont Hotels and Resorts has revealed plans to launch Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort slated to open in January 2017.
The property’s inauguration ceremony held on 15 December, was attended by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; advisor to H.H The President of the UAE. and H.H. Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi; member of the supreme council and ruler of the Emirate of Al Fujairah.
The new property will boast 180 rooms and will be the region’s first art inspired hotel.
Commenting on the new property, mar Souab, General Manager, said: “We are pleased to add to our rapidly growing portfolio of hotels in the UAE with the introduction of the uniquely designed Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort. This resort will be a high-profile addition to the East Coast’s developing hospitality and tourism industry.”
A contemporary mosaic-tiled swimming pool, children’s club, the brand’s famed Willow Stream Spa, fully-equipped fitness centre and dive centre, make up the resort’s leisure offerings. In addition to expansive outdoor space, meeting and social event planners will have access to three meeting rooms, including a large modern-day pre-function area.
Fairmont Fujairah Beach Resort will encompass design elements across its five dining outlets, including Canvas; the resort’s all-day-dining restaurant with multiple interactive food stations, Arteasan; surrounded by art and The Copper Lobster, with fresh seafood in a London gastro-bar setting. A European style bistro, Café Pronto, will serve coffee and light bites while poolside diners can enjoy a cold beverage at IAMMAI.
