Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi has appointed Jordan Annabi as executive sous chef.
Annabi is not new to Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi; he previously served as chef de cuisine for Market Kitchen, the modern American restaurant with a local influence inspired by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi GM Ashraf El Siessy commented: “We are very pleased to welcome Jordan on board again, and are confident he will be a great asset to our culinary team.
“Jordan Annabi brings years of valuable experience and we are sure with his creativity and hard work he will continue to be an integral part of the hotel overall success.”
Immediately prior to his new position, the 30-year-old Scottish national was serving as chef de cuisine at Ray’s Grill, Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.
In the UK, he worked as head chef at Airds Hotel and with Costley & Costley Hotels.
In his new role, Annabi will oversee all culinary aspects of Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi, from room service and catering to operations at its restaurants and bars and food amenities for guests.
