TSSC business development manager, Rashid Bahar, speaks to Catering News about the company’s products in the F&B division, which were showcased at Gulfood 2017.
What products are you showcasing at Gulfood?
We are not displaying what we usually do which is kitchen equipment, we are actually displaying our food and beverage division which is usually innovative, the latest one being J&J Snack Foods, which is suitable for amusement parks and hotels. We have things like pretzels, stuffed pretzels, milk chocolate cookies, and double chocolate cookies. Everything comes frozen so you can either bake it or fry it; it is very easy and very quick. In addition to that, we have these new ice lollies, the sugar ones and the sugarless ones which are good for schools – they are frozen juice bars.”
The 22nd edition of Gulfood took place at Dubai World Trade Centre from 26 February – 2 March, 2017. Over the course of 5 days, 90,000 food professionals from 150 countries participated in the exhibition.
