Natasha Sideris, founder, managing executive and creative director of the Tashas café brand will open a new licensed concept, Flamingo Room by tashas, at Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel in Dubai.
Set to launch in September, the 200-seat café-style venue will be the largest Tashas concept to date and is situated next to the hotel’s marine wildlife water ponds containing rehabilitated turtles.
Sideris commented: “The Middle East is full of amazing opportunities and I am thrilled to announce the opening of Flamingo Room by tashas at the Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel. As is our way, we will be offering the same acclaimed service and quality of products that tashas has built its international reputation on, offering our guests a different but distinctive experience.
“We want our Flamingo Room customers to feel comfortable and relaxed in a sophisticated environment, I always say, it’s like putting your feet up on an insanely expensive couch.”
A clean, uncomplicated menu will feature quality ingredients and revamped classics.
Dishes include lobster benedict with toasted brioche and a saffron and lemon hollandaise; a classic prawn avo ritz; white fish with sauce vierge and artichoke; beetroot quinoa salad; ribeye with coriander and herb butter, and seafood pasta.
The interiors have been created by international design firm B&S Studio, with peach and pink tones taking inspiration from the flora and fauna of Africa.
Flamingo Room by Tashas has also collaborated with South African retail brand, Collective by Charles Greig, which has its own shop within the venue.
The restaurant will be open for breakfast, brunch and lunch and for dinner and drinks in the evening.
