Catering industry system supplier Angelo Po is confident that its recent acquisition by the Marmon group is only going to help drive the company onto bigger and better things.
Giorgio Pignataro, regional manager Middle East Angelo Po, made the claim to Catering News Middle East on the floor of Gulfood 2018 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
“Angelo Po now belongs to the Marmon group which is a larger conglomerate from America which is part of Berkshire Hathaway,” he said.
“I’m sure this will help Angelo Po to develop exciting new products and drive the brand forward into a high position in the market.”
Pignatoro said the industry should watch this space as Angelo Po will be launching its eagerly-awaited follow-up to the Icon 9000 later this year.
“We launched the 9000 line last year and it is already a success and the plan for next year is to launch the next line which will follow the same design,” he said.
“The success of Angelo Po was down to belonging to three generations of the same family and now we have an even bigger reach.”
