Dubai will be the host for the 10th edition of the Italian Cuisine World Summit which will be held from 19-24 November. Bringing together the best Italian restaurants, food, and wine producers, the summit will also present Michelin-starred chefs and culinary experts under one roof. Organized by Itchefs-GVCI, the Italian Cuisine World Summit is recognized as the most influential and most prominent international event and trade show, dedicated to promoting an Italian lifestyle and the excellence of food & beverage from the region.
The 2018 edition will kick off with an extraordinary Opening Gala that will be hosted at the Armani/Pavilion in the iconic Burj Khalifa at Armani Hotel Dubai on November 20. The Gala will bring together 15 Michelin-starred Italian chefs, hospitality professionals, food aficionados and lovers of Italian cuisine, to indulge in an unforgettable culinary experience. Guests are invited to experience a cocktail reception at 7:30 pm, followed by a gala dinner at 8:30 pm. The magnificent dinner will boast culinary signatures from the Michelin-starred master guest chefs along with leading Michelin-starred chefs in the country, captained by no less than world-renowned and of 3-star famed Heinz Beck.
Prestigious Italian restaurants in the city will set the stage from November 21-23 as they welcome guests to indulge in world-class 4-handed dinners. The 12 hosting chefs in Dubai will prepare their masterpiece dishes together with the visiting Michelin-starred chefs, captivating and entertaining guests with their lively presentations.
The final leg of the program includes this year’s rendition of the Italian Taste of Dubai Festival which will be held at the lush garden area of BiCe at Hilton JBR Hotel on November 23. Festival-goers can expect one-of-a-kind, memorable gastronomic journey featuring an array of palate-pleasing specials, prepared by talented Italian chefs from all over the globe. The unprecedented event also provides a unique networking opportunity for Italian producers and local buyers along with a dedicated section for those looking to purchase exquisite Italian products.

The 10-year milestone is paved of important goals reached: four editions in Hong Kong and six between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and three China Roadshows (Beijing, Shanghai and Changsha). In 10 years, it has involved over 200 Italian restaurants and 5-star hotels, 250 Master Guest Chefs and Hosting Chefs, both Italian and foreign (125 Michelin-starred), and 100 Cooking Classes for the public.
