How long has Desert River been in the lighting business?
We have been selling lighting products to the GCC hospitality sector for over 10 years now. This ranges from large statement lamps for outdoor use by Italian brand Slide to a huge selection of rechargeable table lamps. Battery operated lamps have almost taken over from traditional candle products, as they are safer, cost effective, and practical for F&B & spa professionals. Tell us about your new website for table lights.
The industry is evolving and restaurants and cafés are moving away from the traditional candles on tables. What is trending in the hospitality table lighting industry?
High end designs in gold, copper, and dark lava brushed metals for fine dining and high-end bars, which is covered by the Moments by Imagilights range, is very much in demand. Lamps with facetted glass that look almost like jewels and have structure and glitter effects, like our Filini Classic range, are favoured by the more glamorous venues.
What is your latest product launch under table lighting.
