ROUNDUP, a subsidiary of Dubai based 54⁰ East, has launched the first food truck marketplace in Dubai, operational from October 23rd 2015.
ROUNDUP MARKET will be a complete food truck park with food, music and entertainment for all age groups. It will come alive in Dubai at the iconic locations of Zaabeel Palace and Dubai Creek on Fridays 9 am – 9pm and Saturdays 3 pm – 11 pm respectively.
ROUNDUP MARKET features an eclectic line up of food trucks, docked to offer a culinary treat for street food lovers. It has been planned over a massive area of more than 20,000 sq.ft. and is expected to garner a footfall of more than 40,000 people in its first edition. Along with food trucks, there are plenty of entertainment options planned like children play area, TV screens, flea market shops, etc.

Starting its operations in August 2015, Roundup has successfully handed over 12 trucks – including Calle Tacos, an award winning US food truck franchisee with tex mex flavors; MOB – an American fast food enterprise and Gobai – offering fusion Goan food & Bio Bean – a locally roasted premium coffee and artisian bar. The company plans to expand its fleet to 100 by end of 2015. Each truck has the capacity to cater to more than 2,000 people. Roundup eventually plans to expand business across Middle East with a goal of 1,500 trucks.
