When two icons collide… Trader Vic’s will be the latest iconic destination to open their doors at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah on Palm West Beach on the 15th of October 2022. Trader Vic’s is set to take Dubai’s culinary and cocktail scene by storm with the venue’s famous and delicious hand-crafted beverages, served in signature Tiki mugs, and exotic pu pu platters of imaginative bites.
The longstanding brand, headed by the Trader Vic’s Corporation, is set to open two distinct spaces at Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah. It also serves to add to the atmosphere too as the delicious smells of wood fire cooking emanate throughout the stunning venue. Neighbouring the soon-to-be-frequented Trader Vic’s will be their sister venue, Tahitian Village. Building on the success of its first location in Doha, Qatar, the group is excited to introduce their latest brand to Dubai. “Trader Vic’s strikes a chord with so many locally and internationally and when the opportunity was given to us by Golden Sands and Hilton to create a destination within a destination, we knew the Tahitian Village brand extension would be a perfect fit”, Rhett Rosen, CEO Trader Vic’s Worldwide.
While this poolside outdoor space overlooking the beach continues to offer the “Trader Vic’s experience”, expect to be wowed with its resort-style relaxed fare and all-day libations…oh and did we mention there will be frozen Tiki Puka Pukas? During the day, relax poolside and enjoy a selection of fresh fruit juices from the signature Hua (fruit) Bar. Just be sure to wait for the real party to begin after sunset where you can enjoy the canopy light installation, live music, and internationally renowned DJs.
What started in 1934 as a small shack serving limited fare with a capacity for only 30 people in Oakland, California, has now become one of the world’s most recognizable names in the cocktail and restaurant industry. With over 28 years in the Middle East, the brand is an established and much-loved institution in Dubai and this will be their largest venue yet.
