One of Dubai Marina’s most celebrated casual Japanese joints, Ikigai Resto + Bar, has launched an exciting new menu for 2023. Alongside a selection of Japanese fusion dishes, newly-appointed Head Chef Rosnani Hasan –offers a delicious star dish that will not disappoint. The authentic Ramen Noodle Soup is the star of the show and perfect for the winter season.
The popular izakaya is already being lauded for its coveted star dish (AED63) characterised with a milky shio broth, poured onto a bed of thin, straight soba noodles, seared skin-on chicken strips, a soft tamago egg and garnished with bok choy and spring onion. It’s a must-try for ramen fans across the city. Patrons can customise the spice level and add on a selection of Japanese appetisers, from maki rolls and mixed tempura to chicken karaage and robatayaki skewers, to complete the experience.
Chef Rosnani’s desire to push culinary boundaries can be felt across the new menu and the ramen noodle soup is no exception. Inspired by Japan’s famous street taverns – where the beer is always cold and the food is full of flavour – Ikigai promises izakaya-style street food in a trendy setting, where stylish décor and Japanese and Asian cuisine combine to create the perfect dining, drinking – and now slurping – experience.
