Located in the crown of Atlantis The Royal, Ling Ling overlooks the resort’s expansive resort pools, with soaring views of the glittering Dubai skyline and Arabian Gulf. Upon arrival, guests are whisked up to the 22nd and 23rd floors via luxurious private elevators, where they are invited to explore the venue via several unique and communal experiences. Designed by Parisian duo Gilles & Boissier, the essence of Ling Ling is to invite guests on a trip throughout the night in a colourful, dynamic and electric space.
The interiors feature lush greenery, a spacious garden terrace, and exclusive Ultra Lounge, coupled with an expansive marble-rich bar and two chic dining lounges. Each space is a vibrant aesthetic experience which plays with colour, light features, sophisticated materials and natural elements – creating a succession of instant surprises.
The centrepiece of the venue is a great tree of life, featured in the level 22 dining lounge, which plays with the space inviting guests to interact. The tree’s concept was developed in collaboration with and executed by the studio of the artist Dorian van Braam. The stunning sculpture, whose dynamic movement and sinews form a symbiosis with the light, architecture and interior design of Ling Ling was conceived to represent the Asian heritage of the brand and venue, as well as the essence of life being breathed into the arid landscape by the people of Dubai. Beautiful rutted and scarred natural oak heartwood draws this ‘life force’ up through its core and trunk in solid brass marquetry, along elegant sustainably sourced limbs into the canopy and out to a flurry of sculpted copper leaf foliage painstakingly realised from nature itself.
