Dubai’s Spice & Ice in JLT takes lounge-style dining to a new level, with molecular gastronomy and progressive Indian cuisine complemented by a stocked licensed bar and resident DJSpice & Ice is set to revolutionise Dubai’s dining scene with an eclectic assortment of contemporary Indian-themed dishes prepared using molecular gastronomy & liquid nitrogen served amidst a funky and fully-licensed urban lounge-style ambience in Jumeirah Lakes Towers.
Opening in early January 2016, Spice & Ice takes its culinary cues from the East, specialising in modern Indian food as well as wider Pan-Asian cuisine, including innovative creations such as chicken served on a mango carpaccio and asparagus korma infused with miso paste & white wine.
Spice & Ice will host an array of themed evenings including a curry and beer night (featuring traditional Indian curries as well as variations from Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Malaysia) on Sundays; ladies’ night on Tuesdays with free flowing Prosecco for the ladies from 6pm to 11pm; and Indian Bollywood music nights on Fridays.
This concept is the brainchild of Anand Radia, the man behind bringing the PizzaExpress and Jazz@PizzaExpress brands to the UAE. He says: “Our focus is on Michelin star-quality cuisine combined with superlative service yet at a reasonable price.
“From Indian-style tapas light bites to pre-plated meal courses, our skilled chefs will use molecular techniques to create some truly stand-out dishes for Dubai’s adventurous and experimental gourmands. More so the design of the venue, complete with lounge seating and a large bar, means it will be the perfect place to let your hair down and go from lunchtime till last orders”
Located in Cluster A, JLT at lake level. Opening hours’ noon till 1am weekdays & 3am on Thursdays & Fridays.
