US frozen yogurt concept Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt has launched in the UAE in partnership with UAE-headquartered retail company, Two Spoons.
With two locations already up-and-running at Magic Planet family entertainment outlets in Mall of the Emirates and Mirdiff City Center, a further two outlets are set to open this quarter.
Carl Ghossoub, managing director of Two Spoons and territory developer of Orange Leaf in the Middle East commented: “Consumer demand for frozen yogurt in the Middle East has grown exponentially.
“We are thrilled to develop the Orange Leaf brand in the region and look forward to bringing the full range of delicious flavours to frozen yogurt fans across the region, as well as to taking the Orange Leaf brand to new markets,” he added.
A third outlet at new shopping centre, The Mall, opposite Wild Wadi on Jumeirah Beach Road, will be home to a 128m2 free-standing Orange Leaf store, scheduled to open this February.
This will be followed by a fourth location at The Dubai Mall in March, with a 43 m2 store next to Mashreq Bank.
Orange Leaf’s kiosk menus will feature frozen yogurt flavours such as, brownie batter, pomegranate, birthday cake and salted caramel, which is dispensed by self-serve frozen yogurt machines.
Toppings available include fresh fruit, nuts, cereal and popular sweets, and frozen yogurt smoothies and cookie sandwiches are also on offer.
In addition to frozen yogurt, Orange Leaf serves baked goods such as croissants and pancakes, along with hot beverages.
Dubai is the first Middle Eastern location for Orange Leaf, with Two Spoons to open 25 outlets across the region through partnerships with local franchisees.
With more than 300 stores in the US and five in Australia, the Orange Leaf team is actively cultivating strategic franchise relationships in other international markets.
The company is targeting 700 stores worldwide and continues to build brand awareness through partnerships, such as that with Oklahoma City Thunder NBA basketball star, Kevin Durant.
