Viceroy Hotel Group has named Sedat Nemli as the new General Manager of Viceroy Princes’ Island, Istanbul.
Sedat will lead the team at Viceroy’s first resort in Turkey. A highly accomplished hospitality professional, Sedat brings with him a firm understanding of the local area as well as extensive experience gained globally.
An experienced leader and seasoned professional in orchestrating successful hotel openings, Sedat will be responsible for delivering Viceroy style and flair ensuring each guest has a memorable experience accompanied by world-class hospitality service.
Sedat joins Viceroy with over 30 years’ of hospitality experience, having worked in world-class hotels, with groups such as Moevenpick, Kempinski and Marriott. After a stint with the Moevenpick Hotels and Resorts as a Sales Manager, he quickly progressed to lead the Sales & Marketing department for Ciragan Palace Kempinski, before becoming regional VP for America. He then moved back to Turkey and took on the role as General Manager at Kempinski Hotel The Dome. During the years that followed, Sedat worked across several hotels including the Kempinski Hybernská Prague and the Marti Istanbul Hotel, and the opening of the Edition Istanbul.
Prior to joining Viceroy Princes’ Island, Sedat was the Chief Operating Officer for Servotel Corporation.
