You can either download the categories, nomination guidelines and nomination form using the below links or email catering@bncpublishing.net to have them sent to you. Send your completed nomination form(s) to catering@bncpublishing.net by Thursday 7 September.
What is the Leaders in Food & Beverage Awards?
The Middle East’s Food and beverage industry has grown meteorically in recent years and today the region boasts an impressive array of world-class imported brands and homegrown concepts. The Leaders in Food & Beverage Awards has been designed to celebrate excellence and innovation in food and beverage, highlighting the people and places shaping the region’s culinary landscape. There are 18 awards divided into nine restaurant and nine individual categories, each recognising examples of outstanding achievements in their field.
Where and when is it happening?
The Leaders in Food & Beverage Awards 2017 will take place at the Westin Mina Seyahi Dubai on Monday 30 October.

Who can put forward nominations for the Leaders in Food & Beverage Awards?
If you work in the food and beverage industry in the Middle East, you can nominate your colleague(s) or business for an award. If you work for a PR or communications agency which represents an F&B client, you can nominate your client, however please do this in collaboration with them to avoid duplication of entries.
Can I submit more than one nomination?
You can submit more than one nomination, however separate forms must be completed for each nomination.
Can I nominate myself?
No, you cannot submit a nomination for yourself. If you would like to be considered for an award, please approach a member of staff in your public relations or human resources department who can assist you by submitting a nomination on your behalf.
What countries can put forward nominations?
For the purposes of the Leaders in Food & Beverage Awards, the ‘Middle East’ refers to the Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) countries (Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Kuwait) and Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon. Nominations can be submitted for any business or individual operating in any of the listed countries.
How do I write a good nomination?
Please read the categories list carefully and fill out the nomination form to the best of your ability, including as much detail as possible and any proof points you can offer, such as evidence of the candidate/ business meeting and exceeding KPIs or growth targets and examples of outstanding performance/ achievements. Any nomination found to contain false information will be disqualified.
How do I submit my completed nomination form?
Please return your submission(s) to catering@bncpublishing.net by 23.59 on Thursday 7 September. Entries will not be accepted after this date.
Who is judging the event?
Every category will be judged by our panel of independent F&B experts to ensure the competition is transparent and fair. The judging panel will be announced shortly.
How does judging work?
When nominations close, the team at Catering News Middle East will shortlist the entries and send the shortlist to the judges, along with a score card. The judges will score each entry independently and return them to the team. and final scores will be calculated. The five highest scoring nominations for each category will be contacted and required to attend the awards ceremony in Dubai on Monday 30 October. The winners will be announced live at the event.

How do I sponsor the event?
Sponsorship opportunities are still available, however it is recommended that sponsors confirm their participation at the earliest in order to take advantage of the full pre-event coverage.
