The distinguished hideaway surrounded by the endless expanse of the rolling desert dunes is thrilled to unveil the vastly experienced Chef Mohamed Abbas who will lead the culinary team as the new Head Chef looking after the collection of chic restaurants at this boutique resort. He brings over 20 years of experience holding senior positions across the region’s most luxurious hotels and restaurants, including at The St. Regis Dubai, The St. Regis Polo Hotel, Millennium & Copthorn Hotels Dubai, Armani Hotel Dubai, and the prestigious Royal Development Hospitality department for ADNOC HQ in Abu Dhabi.
An adventurous and passionate culinary expert who is always brimming with positive energy, Chef Mohamed is eager to introduce a completely new array of tantalising culinary experiences and creative dining concepts to guests at Al Wathba Desert Resort & Spa. He looks forward to supporting his team expand their skills while sharing his wealth of experience. Always keen to learn and educate himself, he names the fresh and perfectly grilled seafood mix at Bait Al Hanine, and the aromatic lobster bisque at Terra Secca as his two top ‘must-try’ dishes.
