Koko Bay, the popular beach haven in Dubai, has announced the appointment of Anastasios Karakasidis as the General Manager for the beachside restaurant and bar.
Originally Greek, Anastasios’s passion for the hospitality industry started at the age of 15 when he started his first job as a Food and Beverage assistant at Cafe bar in Thessaloniki. With a myriad of experiences spanning over 20 years and Michelin-starred restaurants under his belt, Anastasios started his career as a Team Supervisor in London at Hakkasan Group where he was able to grow his skill set as a team leader. Anastasios’ relentless need to hone his talent saw him as a restaurant manager at Bombay Bustle in London a few years later, before moving to Greece to take up the General Manager position at the Alio restaurant.
As the newly appointed restaurant General Manager, Anastasios will lead the team at Koko Bay with a vital focus to implement a new training manual, induction procedures and training staff with the highest service standards.
He aims to ensure all guests are provided with an exceptional experience during every visit.
Commenting on his appointment as Restaurant General Manager at Koko Bay, Anastasios said: “I am very excited to join the excellent team at Koko Bay who have been working hard over the past years to build an iconic brand in Dubai. I hope to continue leading the team to further elevate our guest experiences for a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.”
In his free time Anastasios enjoys playing with vinyl and producing music and has a deep passion for football.
