With 14 years of solid F&B experience in Dubai, Sunset Hospitality welcomes Eugeniu Gheorghiciuc as the new General Manager of attiko, where he will oversee all operations across the venue, and play an integral part in expanding the brand globally (with the newest opening soon to be announced).
The Moldovian national, who is proficient in English, Russian and Romanian, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Science of Commodities and Trade in 2009 before his passion for F&B ignited.
Upon completing his studies, Eugeniu began his career at the infamous CAVALLI Club, where he worked for two years. He then started a new chapter at top nightlife venues such as VIP Room Club, and opening of Blue Marlin IBIZA Beach Club in Bodrum, before moving to Pure Sky Lounge where he was responsible for developing and managing all controllable costs as well as executing commercial strategies and market ideas to optimize revenue growth, for three years.
His most recent role, prior to moving to attiko, was Restaurant Manager at the iconic Ce La Vi Dubai, Address Sky View. Eugeniu managed the venue (with approximately 600 covers daily) and exceeded his multimillion revenue targets, as well as applying the highest level of service standards, attracting a number of A-list clientele and celebrities.
Speaking about his new appointment, Eugeniu said, “I look forward to sharing my passion and rich experience within Dubai’s ever growing hospitality industry with the team at attiko, supporting them through training, monitoring and development programmes, to ensure we achieve maximum customer satisfaction.”
Since starting his role, Eugeniu has already brokered several new initiatives and implemented daily live entertainment experiences. He has also brought the venue’s ‘Sky Brunch’ to a new level of energy (which is now considered as one of the liveliest brunches in the city) and created a once-a-month guest DJ series, for a night of epic partying under the stars.
Inspired by the conviviality of Asian nightlife and cosmopolitan lounges, attiko is located on the 31st floor of the W Dubai – Mina Seyahi, and has quickly grown to become of one Dubai’s most iconic destinations due to its F&B offering, entertainment experiences, as well as its panoramic views from the terrace overlooking Dubai Harbour, The Palm Jumeirah, and Bluewater Island.
