Chef Kewal is no stranger to Hyde Dubai, as he was part of the pre-opening team where he was the Sous Chef for Katsuya and contributed massively towards the successful opening of the restaurant.
Prior to his tenure as Sous Chef, Tiwari’s career was punctuated by a series of impactful leadership roles within the culinary industry. In 2013, Chef Kewal’s journey with the Katsuya brand began as a Chef de Partie at Katsuya by Starck in the Dubai Mall. Over the years, he ascended to the role of Head Chef, dedicating himself to the brand and nurturing his passion for culinary excellence.
Now assuming the mantle of Chef de Cuisine, Tiwari is poised to spearhead a dynamic and inventive approach, collaborating closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams. His goal is to orchestrate an unparalleled culinary expedition for guests at Katsuya, blending innovation with tradition to craft an exceptional Japanese dining experience.
