Atelier House Hospitality (AHH) today announced that Panchali Mahendra, Managing Director, has been elevated to President of AHH. After 5 successful years since its inception, Atelier House Hospitality has established a firm foothold in the region as a high-quality boutique player in the market under Mahendra’s leadership. AHH has brought in brands from overseas, developed and conceptualized locally grown brands, and provided consulting and operational support to the local market.
“We started with an idea and a lot of courage and Panchali turned that dream into reality,” said Atelier House Hospitality & Altamarea Group Founder & CEO, Ahmass Fakahany. “We are not a scale player, but our ethos is quality and selectivity with customized services and solutions for clients. Despite our smaller platform, we believe there is also room and demand for us in this vibrant market. “
AHH now has presence in UAE, KSA, and soon India as well. Plans are in force to broaden reach and capability in the Middle East. Atelier House is affiliated with New York based Altamarea Group and receives any culinary and support services needed, including access to global F&B relationships and trending concepts. Cuisine represented in the AHH range includes coffee/patisserie, elevated Italian, quality brasserie French, Indian quality casual and fine dining, and specialty grill concepts. Brands owned, managed and/or conceptualized include Marea, 11 Woodfire, Mohalla, RSVP, Host, Asma, Tides Bar, and soon next year Mantra and InJa.
Fakahany added, “In this role, Panchali will have a broader responsibility over strategy, building our footprint in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and developing key partnerships and collaborations. She will also be tasked with developing the on-ground team with carefully curated talent additions to the organization and deepening our culture of performance excellence at every level.”
Panchali has been a consistent advocate for women’s growth and development in the Food & Beverage arena and participates in key mentorship programs. She has been recognized for her work by the UAE government and has been awarded as the first woman to receive the Golden Visa. Among her recent achievements, Panchali has received an award for “Women Leaders” by CMO Asia, featured in “Powerful Women list 2022” by Caterer ME and the Hotel & Catering Award for “ Industry Heavyweight.”
In recent news, AHH has recently opened a New York brand, Ristorante Morini, at Jareed Hotel in KSA and is working to open its second Mohalla restaurant also in KSA. AHH also added last month to its executive team, Kevin Joshi, as Marketing Director for the group covering all brands and ventures.
